The 2021 Dolphin Daze Fishing Tournaments, including the Awards Ceremony and Bar-B-Que, could not have been accomplished without the dedication and commitment of the LSBC volunteers and ACME crew. You all deserve a big round of applause for making this year's event a success.

On June 5th 17 "Dolls" (including two junior anglers) set out with beautiful but sloppy seas. Their total catch was 116 pounds of dolphin. The "Dads" fished on June 12th with 23 boats (including one junior angler) the seas were a bit calmer and when the day was done the guys weighed in 171 pounds of dolphin.

On Sunday, June 13th, LSBC hosted the 36th annual Awards Ceremony. This year there was live music Bar-B-Que with all the fixings. There was a Chinese auction, 50/50 raffle and, thanks to Doug and Roe Fordon, we had a duck race. We are proud to report that $1,048.00 was raised for this year's charity – Big Brothers and Big Sisters of Broward County.

Without our members, volunteers and sponsors this annual tournament would not be possible. One of the best ways you can thank our sponsors is to take a moment to patronize their businesses, let them know that you are a member of LSBC and that we appreciate their generosity.

THANK YOU to everyone who helped – whether you folded shirts, sold shirts, prepared goodie bags, took photographs, checked in boats, weighed fish, put up banners, set-up tables, cooked food, served food, bartended, sold raffle tickets, cleaned up, emptied trash cans or helped in any other way - THANK YOU! Please pardon us if your name is not listed.
